18SepClearwater, FL (July 23rd, 2025) – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of approximately 5.2 million above-ground pools after identifying a serious drowning hazard. The pools, manufactured by Bestway, Polygroup, and Intex Recreation Corp, were sold nationwide from 2002 through 2023. According to the CPSC, external support straps used on these pools allow young children to climb into the water, even without a ladder.

18SepClearwater, FL (July 17th, 2025) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced a recall of more than 67,000 cases of Power Stick roll-on deodorant varieties. An FDA enforcement report identified violations of the agency’s Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The deodorants, produced by A.P. Deauville, LLC, were sold nationwide, including here in Clearwater, Florida, at Walmart and Dollar Tree stores, as well as on Amazon.
18SepClearwater, FL (July 15th, 2025) – On July 14, 2025, Danone U.S. announced a sweeping voluntary recall of all YoCrunch yogurt products nationwide. The reason? Consumers discovered clear plastic shards hidden inside the mix-in toppers attached to the yogurt cups. The shards, some measuring up to 25 millimeters with sharp edges, pose serious risks, especially to children.
18SepClearwater, FL (July 9th, 2025) – A major recall of Oscar Mayer turkey bacon has raised public health concerns nationwide after routine U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) testing found possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The recall affects over 367,000 pounds of fully cooked turkey bacon produced by Kraft Heinz Foods Company.

The recall was prompted by 34 separate reports of the blankets overheating, including three confirmed burn injuries and two fires.
